Poseida Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a talented Sr. Statistical Programmer to join our Statistics and Data Sciences (SDS) team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to contribute to innovative clinical trials for new CAR-T, gene editing and gene therapy products in an exciting and dynamic environment focused on cutting-edge gene editing technology.


Position Summary

The Senior Statistical Programmer will provide statistical programming support for multiple clinical studies and associated activities to include data package submissions to regulatory agencies, internal data monitoring requests, management of biomarker and manufacturing data, safety reports, manuscripts, posters, presentations, etc.


Responsibilities

These may include but are not limited to:

  • Providing supportive programming for multiple clinical trials with potential to assume lead responsibilities where directed.
  • Create or review/approve CDISC compliant SDTM and ADaM datasets with corresponding documentation for electronic submission to regulatory agencies.
  • Create and validate tables, listings, and figures (TLFs)
  • Create or review for accuracy, any reviewer guides and define.xml documents for data packages.
  • Perform quality control checks on programs and outputs produced by other statistical programmers and external vendors.
  • Coordinate with members of SDS and cross functionally with members of other departments such as clinical operations and clinical biomarkers.
  • Develop SAS programs for study related ad hoc requests, presentations, posters, etc.
  • Provide technical expertise to the development of programming standards and procedures.
  • Assists Data Management with SAS programming needs.
Requirements

Requirements, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biostatistics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Life Sciences with 5 plus years statistical programming experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical or CRO setting (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered).
  • Experience programming on oncology clinical trials preferred.
  • Understand and able to implement CDISC standards and transform raw data to these standards.
  • Highly competent in SAS programming and Macro development
  • Experience with NDAs/BLAs
  • Demonstrated out of the box problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a dynamic, complex and fast-paced team environment.
  • Travel may be required up to 5% of the time.

Senior Statistical Programmer Salary Range: $106,000 to $140,608

The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience with the industry, education, geographic location, etc.
