POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Account and Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales of PAA's current and new product line distribution business in the aviation aftermarket. The position is responsible for growing existing accounts assigned and generating incremental business for new accounts. This requires a comprehensive set of actions for success including all business elements relating to sales, customer support, sales support, sales planning, parts brokering and inventory acquisition. In addition, this person will manage the day-to-day activities and requirements of their accounts, expanding business opportunities while building and maintaining positive customer relationships. It is expected that this person develops new high-margin revenue opportunities by creating value-added products and opportunities for our customers. Continuously monitors account and market statistics and performance and takes action as required. Supports the Director of Sales in the development and execution of sales strategies and plans for existing and new market penetration, increased market share and maximum profit generation.

Understands Company products and their related pricing. Negotiates for the Company.  
Utilizes Quantum and Salesforce.com effectively for business development, sales, and supply chain optimization.  
Thinks ahead and is proactive in dealing with issues and problems.  
Understands market dynamics and the competitive landscape and navigates accordingly.  
Displays strong business discipline and insight. Not afraid to make tough decisions.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
 
Education:
Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school) or Work Equivalent, Field of Study: Business Administration, Aviation Management, or Engineering
 
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of aviation aftermarket sales experience with a proven track-record of success and consistent strong sales performance. Demonstrated knowledge of aircraft parts.  
 
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office, (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, OneNote). Knowledge of Quantum Component Control and CRM software. Ability to navigate and create models in MS excel is imperative.
 
 
 
Other Requirements: Ability to read and understand aircraft, Airframe, and component technical publications, illustrated parts catalogs, and component maintenance manuals.
Capacity to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Working knowledge of lean/six sigma concepts and continuous improvement techniques.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to discover and analyze relevant account and market data trends and transform these trends in actionable information
Ability to multi-task and make good decisions.
