The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for all aircraft maintenance activities assigned to them such as repair, servicing, and maintenance of aircraft systems, powerplants, airframe, avionics and components in accordance with the appropriate manuals. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned) Initiate, execute and sign forms,

1. Receives work orders and obtains the necessary tools required for the repair. 2. Transports the vehicle(s) to be repaired by driving pushing vehicle into service bay. Vehicles may consist of tugs or forklifts. 3. Inspects parts and/or motor vehicles to identify defective or broken parts. 4. Repairs diesel engines systems. 5. Obtains replacement parts required.
