Job Summary
The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading and transforming the organization's hiring strategy through innovation, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence. This role oversees the full talent acquisition lifecycle, including recruiting technology, candidate experience, team leadership, workforce planning, and external partnerships. The Director will design scalable, forward-thinking talent acquisition strategies that support long-term growth, elevate the candidate experience, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the recruiting technology stack, ensuring tools are effective, fully utilized, and aligned with business needs

  • Establish service-level agreements (SLAs) for recruiting tools and lead training initiatives to maximize adoption and efficiency

  • Integrate emerging technologies into sourcing strategies, workflows, and applicant engagement processes

  • Design and manage the end-to-end candidate experience, ensuring a seamless and positive hiring journey

  • Optimize applicant tracking system (ATS) utilization through pipeline development, candidate rediscovery, and talent pool re-engagement

  • Develop and maintain strategic sourcing partnerships with universities, training programs, and community organizations

  • Establish and monitor recruiting SLAs and key performance indicators (KPIs), including time-to-fill, submission-to-hire, interview-to-hire, and offer-to-start metrics

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Talent Acquisition team, including performance management and career progression planning

  • Create and manage a structured requisition process, including assignment, aging, fulfillment tracking, and sourcing strategy alignment

  • Oversee job description management to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with organizational needs

  • Continuously improve recruiting processes to enhance efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction

  • Collaborate with hiring leaders and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution of hiring priorities

  • Conduct market research related to compensation trends, talent supply and demand, and competitive landscape analysis

  • Translate labor market insights into actionable hiring strategies in partnership with executive leadership

  • Manage staffing agency partnerships, including SLAs, KPIs, compliance, contracts, pricing, and performance evaluation

  • Ensure external partners align with internal talent acquisition standards and deliver measurable value

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy integrating internal hiring, agency support, referral programs, and advanced enterprise practices

  • Implement innovative hiring models, including direct sourcing programs, managed service provider (MSP) approaches, and advanced internal recruiting practices

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience leading enterprise-level Talent Acquisition functions with measurable outcomes

  • Strong experience managing recruiting technology platforms, ATS optimization, and technology implementation

  • Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing recruiting teams

  • Experience establishing and managing recruiting SLAs, KPIs, and scalable hiring processes

  • Expertise in strategic sourcing partnerships with educational institutions, training programs, and external organizations

  • Experience managing staffing agency relationships, contracts, compliance, and performance metrics

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage market data to inform executive decision-making

  • Experience with advanced talent acquisition practices, including direct sourcing, pipeline development, and MSP models

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
