Summary:
The Senior Manager, Data Products is responsible for building, scaling, and operating enterprise-grade data products that serve as trusted, reusable assets across Hershey's business domains. This role ensures data products are technically strong, well-architected, governed by design, and adoption-ready, enabling consistent analytics, reporting, and decision-making at scale.
This is an enterprise leadership role, not a project or reporting function. The Senior Manager sits at the intersection of data engineering, architecture, governance, and business domain expertise, and is accountable for the end-to-end lifecycle of data products - from intake and design through delivery, certification, and ongoing operations. The role leads domain-aligned data product teams and partners closely with Data Platform Engineering to ensure products are built using scalable patterns, shared infrastructure, and enterprise standards.
The role also works hand-in-hand with Data Operations & Enablement to ensure data products are properly documented, certified, and supported through governance tools, metadata, lineage, and quality processes. This ensures that data products are not only delivered, but are trusted, discoverable, and consistently used by the business.
What we are building for Hershey:
This role is foundational to Hershey's long-term data strategy. The Senior Manager, Data Products helps build a portfolio of durable enterprise data products that become the system of record for analytics, reporting, and future AI use cases. These products are designed to be reusable across functions, scalable across domains, and governed by design - reducing duplication, improving trust, and accelerating decision-making. By establishing strong product ownership, technical rigor, and operational discipline, this role ensures Hershey's data assets evolve from one-off deliverables into long-lived, business-ready products that support growth, efficiency, and innovation across the enterprise.
