This individual is responsible for transforming financial data into actionable insights using interactive Power BI dashboards that enable Executive Leadership to make informed, data-driven decisions. Responsibilities include creating and managing dashboards and reports that support financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic decision-making. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports focused on financial and management reporting, which includes using Power Query and DAX to support dynamic reporting.
- Provide comprehensive data analysis and validation to support the data and financial transformation project.
- Connect to a range of data sources such as ERP systems, Excel files, and cloud-based platforms.
- Ensure financial data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports.
- Automate recurring financial reports and build scheduled refreshes where applicable using Power Automate
- Stay current with Power BI updates and best practices, as well as financial reporting standards
- Collaborate with members of Finance, Accounting, Enterprise Data Services, Hyperion and Operations teams
- Provide insight and analysis on complex financial and operational metrics.
- Proactively seek process efficiencies and improvements to ease reporting and provide our business partners with accurate, quality and timely financial reporting.
- Support financial reporting and budgeting processes.
- Special projects as assigned by supervisor, Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, Chief Financial Officer and/or others.
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a large organization serving in a finance or accounting role required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or applicable field.
Expert in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
Exhibit exceptional attention to detail and advanced visualization skills.
Strong communication skills are critical as this role will interact with Senior Executives and all levels of management in Operations and Finance & Accounting.
Must demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Ideal candidate is a self-starter, questions the status quo and is always seeking process improvement and efficiencies in reporting.
Desire and willingness to dig into the details. Attention to details is critical as well as the ability to communicate at a summary level for Leadership
Organization of Data; Must be able to present financial information to finance and non-financial users in a succinct and easily understandable manner. This individual must excel at "telling the story" of the financials.
Experience with Oracle E-business Suite, Snowflake and Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business analytics, mathematics, economics, or applicable field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a large organization serving in a finance or accounting role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical as this role will interact directly with senior executives and all levels of management in operations, corporate and finance & accounting
- Must demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ideal candidate is highly organized and detailed oriented, questions the status quo and is always seeking process improvement and efficiencies in reporting
- Desire and willingness to dig into the details. Attention to details is critical to deliver timely, quality and accurate management reporting
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
- Organization of Data; Must be able to present financial information to finance and non-financial users in a succinct and easily understandable manner. This individual must excel at "telling the story" of the financials
- Experience with Oracle's E-Business Suite, Business Intelligence, Hyperion applications, and Microsoft Power BI experience is a plus
