Chemist - Blender

Location: Geismar, LA

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Chemist - Blender to join our team! The Chemist-Blender will be accountable for performing complex blending work on specialty gas mixtures. Under general supervision the Chemist - Blender will blend complex gas and liquid calibration standards submitted for approval in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.

What you will be doing:

• Blends complex Gravimetric gas and liquid mixtures per established GMP and SOP's using weighing equipment

• Maintains fill equipment

• Provides technical support to production and customer service as needed

• Completes PM (preventative maintenance) duties assigned

• Compiles, organizes, and maintains blend standard records

• Produces accurate fill blend records

• Other duties assigned

What makes you great:

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or STEM related emphasis or equivalent industry experience preferred

• Ability to multi-task, work independently, and part of a team

• Must be able and willing to lift 50+ lbs.

• Able to work flexible hours
