Overview:

Sentara is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dedicated Cardiology team at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. This full-time position offers a rewarding balance of inpatient and outpatient care, allowing you to collaborate closely with our physicians in the hospital setting while managing patients independently in the clinic.

Position Highlights

• Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (1-2 days in office)

• Inpatient care at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center

• Outpatient clinic with independent patient management

• Average patient panel of 15 per day

• Weekend rotation: 1 in 5 weekends (Saturday & Sunday, 7:00-11:00 a.m.)

• Rotating call schedule (nights, phone only - not in person)

• Duties include general follow-ups and new patient visits
