Deliver dynamic weapons instruction for small arms and crew-served weapons, to include M2/M9/M11/ M4/M16, in accordance with COMNECC 3591 series training and qualification standards.
Provide training on basic weapons fundamentals, Category III/IV intermediate shooter mechanics, shooting on the move, use of barricades and cover, shooting and moving knowledge, and practical application as individual skills to accession level shooters through more advanced unit level training skills sets with small arms weapons requirements in both a synthetic and live fire environment.
Act as line coaches, training and qualification facilitators supporting the NCG1/2 range N75 cadre.
Travel to other locations as required supporting small arms instruction.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Technical knowledge of the following weapons systems: M9 Pistol (required), M4/M16 variant (required), M240, M2 .50 Cal, and M500 Shotgun.
Ability to meet/pass Navy High-Risk Training requirements as outlined in OPNAVINST 1500.75 series.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Possess fitness and conditioning to support the level of instruction.
Capable of passing a medical screening, psychological evaluation, drug screen and background check.
Present a professional appearance.
Required Qualifications

U.S. citizen
Graduate of ONE of the following Small Arms Weapons training schools:
ESAMI, OR
Blackwater, OR
MidSouth Shooting Institute, OR
Gryphon, OR
Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat, OR
USMC Advanced Urban Combat, OR
Equivalent Small Arms Weapons training school will be considered
Graduate of Navy Instructor Training Course or equivalent
Minimum THREE years’ experience as former military, Law Enforcement Special
Weapons and Tactics, or former active duty tour with CAT III/IV shooting experience
Honorably discharged from the U.S. military within the last FIVE years (DD-214 required)
Minimum ONE year of instructional experience in lieu of designation (DD-214, course certificates, etc.)
Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification
