A Sales Representative at SET Environmental is responsible to:
Assist new and current customers by providing customized solutions to their environmental needs including field services, emergency response, disposal, and transportation services
Increase and/or maintain a required minimum base of revenues within an assigned account grouping
Build and maintain relationships with customers
Perform job walks and prepare detailed estimates for existing and new customers
Follow up on quotes, deliverables, and services
Work with Customer Service Representatives to keep account activities and needs up to date including invoice information
Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers
Attend trade shows and other networking events
Research, develop and promote new methods of technologies which make SET more competitive
Perform other miscellaneous duties as necessary
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
4-year degree, preferably in a science field or 4+ years working in a team environment and in a customer service and/or sales role
Local environmental sales experience preferred
Knowledge of environmental industry and/or waste management regulations preferred
Competent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic e-mail)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven self-starter, highly motivated, sets aggressive goals
