Summary:
The candidate will report to the EH&S Department's Process Safety Director. The candidate will work individually, and as part of the Process Safety team, and will provide Engineering and Field Operations with hazard analysis services, including PHA, PHA Revalidations, LOPA, and Hazard Reviews.
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
8 years of related experience including experience in PSM Incident investigations and methodologies.
* Knowledge with OSHA PSM and the EPA's RMP regulations.
* Certified PSM and RMP auditor.
* Knowledge in Engineering codes and Standards (i.e., REGAGEPs)
* Ability to prioritize tasks and objectives.
* Ability to work independently with little oversight.
* Dependable and self-motivated.
* Ability to travel overnight to miscellaneous Company facilities.
* Ability to work as a team player.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Formal PSM 1910.119 training
* Formal EPA 40 CFR Part 68 training
* PHA Leader training
* Midstream processing and equipment knowledge
* Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) storage and handling knowledge
* Computer proficiency
* Ability to perform in a collaborative environment.
* Project professionalism.
* Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
* Customer service mentality.
