Position Summary:

Be a part of the team responsible for deploying and sustaining the manufacturing of this life-saving equipment. You will work in a dynamic environment with a cross-functional team including R&D, engineering, production, quality assurance, quality control, purchasing, supply chain logistics, and several others. If you are passionate about solving real-world problems, you will find a home among our engineers, software developers, microbiologists, and numerous other professionals working to commission, qualify, and validate manufacturing support systems, along with verifying the design of the products themselves.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test medical equipment, devices, and systems. Your goal will be to improve patient outcomes and enhance healthcare delivery.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers to create innovative solutions according to specifications.
  • Testing and Validation: Participate in rigorous testing of products to ensure safety and efficacy before deployment.
  • Manufacturing Support: Monitor the entire manufacturing process, from concept design to product implementation. Activities include designing product improvements, developing evaluation methods, coordinating initial production, and creating manufacturing diagrams.

Education, Skills, & Experience:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be actively pursuing a BS or MS degree in any of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical, Biomedical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechatronics/Robotics Engineering.
  • Adept in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using CAD tools (e.g. Altium, NX, PTC Creo, AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks), simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink, Spice circuit analysis, CFD, FEA), and/or IDE tools and code repositories (e.g. Git, Bitbucket, TeamCity).
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • No previous engineering work experience is required.
