Position Summary:

In the Sales Operations Analyst position, you'll manage and enhance critical sales operations tasks such as budgeting, sales compensation, territory planning, and CRM administration. Additionally, you'll be responsible for creating detailed reports and analyses to enhance the execution of key sales programs. Your work will include both quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate sales initiatives and provide strategic guidance to improve seller performance and overall sales activity. Lastly, this person may take on various leadership responsibilities within the team as directed by their leader.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SQL and BI Platforms (Power BI Preferred).

What You'll Do and Impact:

  • Administer and optimize sales processes and systems (e.g. CRM) to enable the sales organization to sell more effectively

  • Work collaboratively with senior sales leaders and other sales operations partners to define and calculate variable seller compensation on a monthly and quarterly basis

  • Leverage data and subject matter expertise to support sales leadership in building effective sales territories

  • Own the annual sales budgeting process for specific sales groups

  • Use data and knowledge of Direct Supply's customer base to identify conversion, maintenance, and growth opportunities in the market

  • Engage with sales leadership and other sales operations partners to fulfill on reporting and analytical projects focused on driving revenue, productivity, and profitability

  • Present project outcomes and recommendations to sales leadership. Convert complex data and research into clear, concise, and actionable insights

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for reporting and analytical problems related to Sales and Sales Operations activities

  • Actively participate in cross-functional teams, including routine engagement with senior management and executive level leadership

Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics, IT, or Engineering

  • 1-3 years of experience in an analyst role in business, sales, marketing, or supply chain function

Additional Items of Interest:

  • External certification in related field or advanced degree

  • Prior experience in a sales or sales enablement role

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM

  • Prior experience with sales compensation and an ICM software

  • Knowledge of Python, R, or other statistical programming languages
