The Research Nurse will:
  • Manage multiple clinical research projects for the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine, including research studies in the Operating Rooms and ICUs
  • Work as part of the research team for the Pediatric Anesthesia Research Center
  • Submit protocols, amendments, renewals and rewrites of current research being conducted in the department.
  • Identify, recruit, consent, enroll, and carry out all clinical aspects of studies as well as collect and enter the data.
  • Promote a strong working relationship with Boston Children's Hospital Institutional Review Board (IRB).
  • Maintain regulatory documents, including submission of IRB protocols and adverse events.
  • Submit and maintain FDA documentation for investigational new drug/device applications as necessary.
  • Be the clinical liaison between department data team, Principal Investigators, and research teams.
  • Be the clinical resource for the PARC team.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams across the hospital to implement research protocols

To qualify, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Clinical research experience preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience (pediatric preferred)
