The firm is seeking an Information ServicesTrainer to become an integral part of our Information Services - Training Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, but are not limited to:
Conduct training for new hires as well as ongoing Information Services Training for lawyers and staff
Develop new courses and training modules
Create and maintain support documentation
Record and edit training videos
Conduct training sessions and demos for lawyers and staff in a variety of settings: classroom, one-on-one, in office, departmental meetings, etc.
Study, test, document and prepare to train new applications as they are developed and/or acquired by Information Services for firm-wide distribution
Periodically assist Training Supervisor in scheduling classes
Help maintain and update the User Support Training site on the firm intranet
Preform ad hoc Information Services administrative duties as deemed necessary
Support the larger User Support Team in its training and documentation needs
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
2 years of professional work within technology support, preferably in the legal market
Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred
PC application training experience
Experience writing documentation
Must be able to demonstrate training skills during a mock training session
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical and complex details.
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to effectively review and interpret training requirements and deliver the highest level of training
Strong technical skills and hands-on experience
Web development skills are a plus
