The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is seeking a qualified Associate Dean for Strategy. Recently ranked 2nd by US News & World Report for our Nurse Anesthesia DNP program, 5th for our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner DNP program, and 10th Best Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, the School of Nursing continues to be one of the most reputable and well-known nursing education schools in the country for both undergraduate and graduate level programs.
The Associate Dean for Strategy will collaborate with senior leaders across the school to design strategy and direction for recruiting and enrollment, marketing and communications, and data analytics. This position will work on important initiatives that support achievement of key performance goals and provide regular reports to leadership of strategic initiatives, operations, and outcomes.
Provides leadership for the School's strategic priorities and the operations that support them. Works closely with the School's academic leadership, research leadership, business leadership and the University to support excellence and distinction in fulfilling the School's mission and goals.
-Provides operational oversight for strategic functions to ensure alignment with the school's strategic goals including:
-Recruiting and enrollment,
-Marketing and communications,
-Events, and
-Project management
-Assesses and makes recommendations for organizational structure and procedures to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
-Communicates updates on strategy and accomplishments to other leaders, faculty and staff in the school.
Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
