Facility Services Supervisor

Job Description Summary

The Facility Services Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day onsite operations at multiple client locations in Southern California. The primary focus will be to manage and coordinate the activities of our janitorial staff, janitorial service providers, landscaping providers, and pest control providers, ensuring that our clients' facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pay: $30hr
  • MUST BE FLUENT IN SPANISH
  • Team Management: Lead and direct a team of cleaners and service providers across various client sites.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate effective delivery of contracted services for cleaning, landscaping, and pest control.
  • Cleaning Schedules: Develop and maintain efficient cleaning schedules for each location, ensuring timely and thorough cleaning services.
  • Quality Control: Regularly inspect work performed by janitors, landscaping, and pest control services to facilitate adherence to established standards.
  • Supplies Management: Order and manage cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train new janitorial staff and provide ongoing training to enhance their skills.
  • Client Communication: Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Administer compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Problem Solving: Address any operational challenges promptly and effectively.
  • Budget Management: Work within budget constraints, while maintaining service quality.
  • Emergency Response: Coordinate emergency cleaning services when necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify improvement opportunities and participate in Kaizen of processes

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Evaluate and engage key suppliers of services and supplies Direct team's completion of required corporate and safety training Provide additional support for P&PS West Facility Manager Support other projects impacting occupants of space Review and ensure accuracy of invoices, billing, and payroll records

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial cleaning, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role. Experience overseeing facility service providers
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, bilingual and fluent in Spanish and English preferred
  • Customer Service Orientation: Commitment to exceeding client expectations.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Quick thinking and resourcefulness.
  • Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $30.00 - $30.00
