ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Technical Writer I to join our Manufacturing team, hybrid in Billerica, MA. This individual will provide support for multiple current projects and driving development of next generation Simoa assays within the Product Transfer organization. The ideal candidate is organized and detail oriented, a quick learner and an excellent communicator.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Author, develop, and maintain detailed work instructions, SOPs, templates, and forms for use in Product Transfer & Manufacturing with limited supervision
  • Translate process changes into existing and newly created documentation by collaborating cross-functionally with SMEs from Manufacturing, Pilot and AD
  • Adhere to Quanterix' s Quality Management System
  • Review, adapt and rewrite documentation such as templates, work instructions, and SOPs from other departments (AD, Pilot, etc.) for use in Manufacturing
  • Update team on documentation priorities and progress during team meetings
  • Utilize electronic document management systems to process documentation through collaboration, review, and approval under timeline
  • Observe lab operations when necessary to author SOPs for new pieces of equipment
  • Communicate and present any documentation system updates to functions in Manufacturing and Supply Chain
  • Support/lead special projects as needed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in technical writing and document editing

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3 years technical writing experience in manufacturing
  • Advanced level in Microsoft Word
  • Fluent in using Microsoft Excel
  • Experience authoring and reviewing standard operating procedures, batch records, and other controlled documents
  • Experience with electronic document management systems
  • Knowledge of Assays made in manufacturing

  • Ability to gown and gain entry to manufacturing areas
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, critical thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and critically review work before sending for approval
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
