Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Sustainability Analyst to join our team in Holland.We consider candidates with strong skills indata collection, analytics, and visualization, at any stage in their career as long as minimum requirements are met.

As a Sustainability Analyst, you will:

Support data collection, aggregation and analytics to support Haworth Group's Global Sustainability strategy, quantify progress towards goals and targets, and provide data management and organization. In close collaboration with the Global Sustainability Director, as well as other Haworth Group teams throughout the enterprise, this role exercises proficiency on primary environmental impacts, social impacts and governance. This role will aggregate sustainability data across the enterprise and provide data analytics to measure and communicate environmental and social impacts to internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support data collection from teams across Haworth Group focused on reducing environmental impacts of our direct operations, supply chain and materials and products.
  • Aggregate and analyze data to support disclosure toward voluntary sustainability targets and prepare for regulatory disclosures and reporting.
  • Prepare data visualization for internal and external meetings, including Executive leadership Team and Board of Directors.
  • Provide data management, file management and organizational support to centralize data.
  • Provide project management support, including development of timelines and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead and facilitate our global governance process across multiple brands.
  • Maintains and improves methods for documenting and sharing sustainability achievement information to ensure clients receive best-in-class information on how we support their goals.
  • Participates in strategic sustainability initiatives, based on data driven insights, to meet internal goals and/or client requirements.
Do you have these required qualifications?

  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline (i.e., Sustainability, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics) or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years related sustainability and/or information systems experience.
  • Analytical experience and understanding of data collection, organization and visualization (MS PowerBi, Tableau, etc.).
  • Advanced Excel experience with the ability to manipulate data using formulas, pivot tables, macros and modeling.
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to work and commute onsite daily to our headquartersin Holland, MI (relocation assistance is not provided).
  • Ability to occasionally travel overnight away from corporate offices.
Do you have these preferred qualifications?
  • Strong ability to translate data into insights to mitigate risk, drive operational improvements and provide business solutions to Sustainability goals.
  • Knowledge of and experience with database functions, data storage, data models and data transfer protocols.
  • Excellent working knowledge of visualization tools like PowerBi, Tableau, etc.. reporting packages (ex. Business Objects), databases (SQL, etc.).
  • Good organizational and project management skills; excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Strong presentation skills are critical for success in this position, as you will be regularly presenting to large groups and key stakeholders
