Pay: $22-$25 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
As a Janitorial Worker, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within assigned areas. Daily tasks include but are not limited to:
- Routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, waxing floors, and polishing surfaces
- Emptying waste receptacles and sanitizing restrooms
- Organizing and coordinating the purchase of custodial supplies and equipment.
- Moving furniture and equipment for events
- Participate in meetings and training sessions
Qualifications: Applicants must possess a U.S. high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent certification from a U.S. institution, or a California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) certificate. Additionally, candidates should have 1 to 2 years of prior experience in a Custodian or similar role, along with a valid California Class C Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record maintained with the DMV. Required certifications and licenses must be included with the application.
