Job Description

Strongbridge has an exciting opportunity for a Records Management Analyst to support our work with the US Department of Transportation (DOT), FRA. Candidates must be clearable for a public trust, have lived in the US for at least three years and be a US Citizen or Green Card holder OR have an EAD that does not require sponsorship now or in the future.


Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and provide daily assistance to the Records Management Officer in managing all aspects of records life cycle support for a federal government records management program, including but not limited to, record inventories, record scheduling, records disposals and transfers, training, policy and procedures, to ensure the management and preservation of authentic and reliable agency records.
  • Develops policies and procedures for records/data management system.
  • Must be able to research and resolve issues independently
  • Responsible for storage, backup, maintenance, reproduction, protection, and disposition of all records.
  • Sets up and maintains records/data management system to capture all records control requirements, including maintenance of files, quality assurance, information conversions, and systems automation.
  • Evaluates and recommends media formats and storage requirements to be used for records/information.
  • Assists with transforming legacy system with emerging records management solutions.


Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 5 years experience with NARA compliant records management lifecycle
  • Experience interpreting NARA record retention schedules
  • Experience using NARA's ERA system
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams and other Microsoft Office products
  • Self-starter with strong analytic skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills


Desired:

  • Degree in Library Science


Pay Range: $75k-$90k

The posted salary range reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
