PURPOSE:
The People Experience Partner role serves as the strategic partner to all levels of management in designated teams by providing tactical and strategic consulting to solve complex organizational challenges. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Employee Relations practitioner who has working knowledge and understanding of applicable employment laws and regulations, as well as extensive employee relations experience across both exempt and non-exempt populations. The candidate should possess a deep understanding of HR principles, demonstrate problem-solving skills to address complex HR challenges, identify opportunities for improvement and develop innovative solutions. Lastly, the ideal candidate should align with FormFactor Values, contributing to a positive work environment fostering a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and collaboration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and coach leaders at various levels in the organization, drive HR technology adoption and people leader effectiveness.
  • Conduct investigations involving allegations of policy and/or employment legal violations, working to ensure that issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved.
  • Build and sustain trusted partnerships with COE's and client groups.
  • Evaluate issues, patterns, metrics to identify trends and provide proactive insights and solutions for the business.
  • Lead the business through the planning and execution of the talent and people elements of the organization's long-range strategy, objectives and business plan.
  • Drive the execution of the long-term talent strategy and plan within client groups, and ensure realization.
  • Partner with CoEs to deliver HR programs and tools, such as Performance Management, Engagement and Salary Planning.
  • Act as change agent and strategic advisor to collaborate with leaders and plan the rollout of HR programs.
  • Support line managers in Talent Acquisition matters, in cooperation with the Talent Acquisition CoE.
  • Maintain feedback loop between the business and HR to improve existing services, programs, tools, processes and policies.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in similar role
  • Minimum of two years Employee Relations Experience resolving complex employee relations issues. (Five+ years preferred) in a manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Must have CA state HR experience.
  • Working knowledge of all relevant federal, state and local employment laws and regulations including but not limited to: FLSA, EEOC, ADA, ADEA, and OSHA.
  • Demonstrated project management and change management experience and ability to drive programs independently.
  • PHR, SPHR or other HR certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Experience with Workday is preferred.
  • Unwavering integrity and an ability to maintain confidence in all situations.
  • History of building trust, credibility and relationships with employees, peers and managers, providing honest and constructive feedback
  • Experience successfully analyzing data, understanding complex situations and developing effective high quality solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You communicate clearly and concisely through detailed, accurate documentation.
  • Genuine desire to promote a fair and positive work environment for all employees.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities independently.
  • Coaching skills to help employees and management through complex issues.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and make recommendations to resolve problems or issues by using sound judgement, consistent with standards, policies, and employment law.
The pay range for this role in Livermore is between $104,600 and $137,235. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
