Clinical Collaborative Supervisor who will lead program operations for IOA's Clinical Collaborative Program and supervise clinical and administrative staff employed by community-based case management programs funded by the Department of Disability and Aging Services (DAS) in San Francisco.

Key duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not necessarily limited to:


OPERATIONS:

  • Leading/monitoring the Clinical Collaborative program to adhere to contract guidelines and acceptable clinical standards

  • Providing oversight and supervision to Clinical Collaborative staff

  • Ensuring that Clinical Collaborative program policies and expectations are consistent with IOA policies and procedures as applicable

  • Clearly defining roles and responsibilities for all program staff including identifying areas for professional growth and development

  • Ensuring that all Clinical Collaborative program staff receive performance evaluations at least annually and after the first six months for new staff

  • Ensuring that Clinical Collaborative documentation and clinical records are following the program policies and procedures, contract guidelines, and meet the expectations of internal and external audits/reviews

  • Conducting Clinical Collaborative individual and group supervision meetings as outlined in the contract with the Department of Disability and Aging Services (DAS)

  • Conducting Clinical Collaborative Director's meetings as outlined in contract with DASTrack units of service and produce program reports as directed by DAS

  • Developing appropriate collaborations within the community to support the clinical supervision, training and evaluation of the DAS funded case management staff

  • Conducting multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings as outlined in contract with DAS

  • Expanding Collaborative services to Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) staff to include trainings as well as individual and group consultation as outlined in contract with DAS

  • Assessing the educational needs of staff, developing and coordinating an education and training plan that assures a high level of skill and competency in the understanding of case management, community resources, and family systems

  • Remaining current with changes in San Francisco community aging services, Medi-Cal and Medicare regulations and procedures that will impact the practice and direction of the program; acts as a resource to program and staff organization-wide


BUDGET AND CONTRACT MANAGEMENT:

  • In collaboration with Manager of Community Programs and Business Manager, reviewing and approving contract renewals as needed

  • Developing program budgets and budget modifications for IOA and DAS

  • Monitoring Clinical Collaborative spending trends with Accounts Receivable monthly

  • Performing all other related duties as assigned


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Master's degree in social work or a related field (e.g., psychology, counseling, gerontology or sociology) from an accredited college or university

  • Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Licensed Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in a medical or community-based setting

  • Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience in a medical or community-based setting

  • Clinical expertise in trauma informed services, harm reduction/motivational interviewing

  • Demonstrated understanding of normal aging and health care of older adults and adults with functional disabilities and/or complex medical conditions, case management, rehabilitation and health issues relevant to the frail elderly (e.g., family systems, alcoholism, dementia, personality disorders and other behavioral health issues)

  • Demonstrated understanding of behavioral health services and behavioral health interventions

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and to encourage collegial working relations and team building within agency and with outside partnerships

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

  • Broad understanding of community-based health and social services and pertinent policy issues

  • Creative thinker

COMPENSATION:
  • Range: $40 - 45/Hourly

This amount is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee, which is always dependent on actual experience, education and other factors.
