Under the supervision of the Director, Medicare Advantage Program and Innovation Operations, the Project Coordinator will work closely with all Medicare Advantage team members supporting various projects, initiatives, and day-to-day responsibilities related to the Medicare line of business.

The primary responsibility of this position will include coordination of all activities associated with the annual Medicare Advantage implementation process, including day-to-day management of standard operations and large complex Medicare Advantage-related projects including but not limited to audit activity, process improvement initiatives, or vendor implementation.

This position will also coordinate cross-departmental project teams and play a critical role in project implementation by soliciting requirements through interviews, workshops, and/or existing systems documentation or procedures and ensuring that all impacted processes and systems are evaluated.

This role will participate in team meetings and have contact with various internal and external partners.

Responsibilities:

* Works with the Director, Medicare Advantage Program and Innovation Operations, and health plan business areas/departments to execute the annual Medicare Advantage work plan which includes standard work and large, complex, cross-functional projects

* Identifies and escalates for visibility any issues, risks or decisions needed to prevent or remove barriers to completing tasks on time

* Manage the documentation of output associated with the annual work plan and project management; ensure materials are finalized, distributed, and maintained the appropriate library/program management sites

* Prepare reports, agendas and minutes for the Medicare Advantage governance committees and other standing or ad hoc committees, teams or workgroups

* Lead the maintenance of the Medicare Advantage Program Management SharePoint site, including posting critical notices and documents, daily maintenance of the RAID log and project plan/work plan, document management, and maintenance of resources and reporting repositories including dashboards and other reporting frameworks

* Participates in internal and external meetings relating to special projects, including but not limited to, regulatory changes affecting program operations

* Identify opportunities for, and participate in the development of, process documentation, training, and process improvement initiatives to advance the organizations expertise in Medicare Advantage

* Support operational areas in the develop and reporting of key performance indicators

Qualifications

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in business administration or the equivalent combination of training and experience, plus 2 years of related experience.

* A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a Medicare Advantage setting with a project management and/or process improvement background preferred.

* Experience in regulatory audits strongly preferred.
