Leave and Mobility Specialist (G15)

The Role

This Benefits role will be responsible for all U.S. leave program and global mobility program administration. Responsible for vendor management and company policy oversight in the execution of while addressing all inquiries from managers and employees on programs in partnership with HR Business Partners and HR Operations.

Here's What You'll Do

Leave and Disability

  • Administer all U.S. leave and disability programs, provide guidance and direction on Leave of Absence workflow, ensuring effective interface between vendors and technology.
  • Conduct system audit ensuring accuracy of leave and disability data. Investigate and implement solutions to reconcile any deviations through partnership with vendors, HR Operations and HR Business Partners.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Payroll to implement employment decisions when approved leave time is exhausted. Maintain close contact with employees and managers informed about expected duration, return to work dates, extensions, etc.
  • Identify trends of usage and deviations to recommend enhancements leave and disability programs and processes.
  • Coordinate global repository of leave policies and programs for FMC locations.

Mobility

  • Administer vendor services (e.g. immigration documentation, international healthcare and tax services) upon receiving business' approval for new relocation moves. Obtain regular status reports from vendor providing visibility to stakeholders and take necessary actions where needed.
  • Organize and maintain global mobility policies and mobile employees' documentation (e.g. move letters) as well as ensure records are up to date in the HR system. Coordinate Quarterly Expatriate Status updates for senior leadership.
  • Liaise with appointed tax vendor to review all mobile employees annual tax services authorization list is collated and approved.
  • Oversee tax vendor progress on employees' home and host country tax returns preparation, including timely collation of employees' data by the tax vendor.
  • Monitor the Annual Tax Equalization Settlement calculations status from the tax vendor to ensure any tax balances are refunded to either the company or employees.

Here's What You'll Need (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in FMLA and ADA administration

Here's What You'll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to nuance communications for different audiences.
  • Experience partnering with HR business partners, COEs and/or third-party vendors supporting HR services to drive results.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proven experience with advanced level Excel and PowerPoint to influence decision-making and provide compelling story telling.
  • Experience with cutting-edge SAP SuccessFactors (or equivalent e.g., Workday). Experience with HR services enabling technologies such as ServiceNow is a plus.
