About the Role
Opportunity in the Stryker and Specialty Wheeled Vehicles (SSWV) Program Office, managing projects effort under the Stryker System Technical Support Contract (STS). The Stryker STS is a multi-discipline contract that allows the USG to procure technical support to include Systems Engineering Support (SES), Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Engineering Support, Logistics Engineering Support (LES), Contract Test Support (CTS), Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL), Overarching Support, and Configuration Management for the Stryker Family of Vehicles (FoV).

Responsibilities to Anticipate for this role
The position reports directly to the STS Program Manager and would require routinely interacting with the USG PMSBCT customer. Fostering a trustworthy and honest relationship with Customer is critical. The position includes the planning and execution of engineering STS projects to ensure all obligations are clearly identified to successfully meet project cost, schedule and technical performance requirements, manage projects and technical teams in the design, validation and configuration management within agreed upon scope, schedule and budget. Prepare bids and support any applicable proposal development efforts. Provide direction and leadership support to other functional organizations (Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Finance, etc) as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
Qualifications Sought
  • Bachelor's Degree required in engineering discipline preferred. Other disciplines will be considered
  • with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience required.
  • Program and/or project management experience required.
  • Customer interface experience with USG and/or external suppliers required.
  • Financial compliance audits experience desired.
  • Strategic thinking and planning preferred.
  • Risk management experience required.
  • Team / Matrix management experience required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proposal development experience required.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to obtain DoD clearance and passport.
  • Occasional domestic travel required to production facilities, government locations and/or suppliers.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Exposure to Oracle applications, Teamcenter, TIPQA
