The Role
The Sales Consultant is accountable for exceeding established revenue generation goals and ensuring his/her book of business is profitable. This individual is the trusted resource to the client, recommending solutions while providing the highest level of service, integrity and professionalism. The Sales Consultant builds collaborative relationships with clients to continuously increase sales and to provide the excellent experience and service they have come to expect of the Waterworks brand.

As a Waterworks brand ambassador, Sales Consultants model the Waterworks Values of leadership/entrepreneurial drive, ability to execute and deliver on a fearless sales strategies, a customer-centric approach, with a passion for the Waterworks products.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Market Waterworks brand and products to your assigned Waterworks client list, and client leads provided by the company. Generally, all marketing is the to the trade.
  • Develop and maintain productive business relationships with your assigned Waterworks clients, to understand and capture business and sales opportunities
  • Develop new client relationships through area and territory networking and by introducing your existing business contacts to the Waterworks brand and products
  • Develop an outside marketing plan that will cultivate project quotes and orders in line with your assigned goals
  • Utilize social media, networking and other avenues to develop and grow client relationships
  • Meet with clients in their offices, virtually or in-showroom to present product lines and secure orders
  • Effectively and confidently pitch the Waterworks' line of products
  • Meet or exceed assigned marketing, quote, order and sales goals
  • Manage all phases of client projects including initial meetings, product specification and selection, providing quote and pricing, following up to close sale and take payment
  • Provide monthly/weekly updates to your manager: pipeline and project status
  • Manage and track all client marketing activities through use of our CRM system
  • Provide a superior client experience to enhance long-term relationships, brand loyalty, and market share
  • Actively identify and develop new business and relationships
  • Actively participate in industry and showroom events; i.e. networking events, CEU presentations, lunch and learns, etc.
  • Other projects and activities as needed to drive sales and/or grow market share
Requirements
  • 3+ years of outside/inside sales and/or business development experience in the high-end, luxury brand environment
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales and marketing quotas and goals
  • Success with developing new business
  • Exceptional communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Digitally savvy
  • Ability to listen and translate client's needs into sales
  • Strong persuasion, negotiation skills and the ability to influence others; close sales transactions/deals
  • Self -motivated and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Passion
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; CRM and other sales tracking tools
  • Plumbing and/or tile industry experience preferred
  • Ability to market outside of the showroom up to 50% of week
