POSITION OVERVIEW

The Plant Finance Analyst will be responsible for maintaining accurate data within various Excel spreadsheets, administering payroll time entry, and assisting Plant Finance Leader with other designated tasks. This person reports directly to the Plant Finance Leader. The work schedule for this role is Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Update advanced Excel worksheets/charts for cost center reporting:
    • Labor Variances
    • Usage Variances
    • Period Closing Reports
  • Resolve invoice problem by working with vendors and accounts payables.
  • Input Requisitions in Ariba - Allen Plant Capital.
  • Review MR11/MRBR report for accuracy/corrective action on open Pos.
  • Payroll time entry in HCM and verification including badge swipe audit, associate hours worked, reporting, and timesheet recordkeeping (both paper and electronic).
  • Assist Plant Finance Leader with forecasting/CER process/fixed assets/budgeting/product costing.
  • Other special short-term projects as assigned by Plant Finance Leader.
  • Calculate and monitor environmental PO blankets - process postings and receipts as necessary.
  • Participate in Plant safety process.
  • Assist Division Controller with invoicing/capital spending/CER process/fixed assets/usage variances and other special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • General understanding of accounting practices and terminology.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Experience with advanced Excel functions including pivot tables and v-lookup.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS - PREFERRED

  • Experience with SAP.
  • High level of initiative and ability to analyze and improve processes.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Desire to build skills and grow into a more advanced accounting role.
