As a Linux Endpoint Administrator, your primary role will be to provide technical services to internal customers by identifying, prioritizing, and confirming resolution of reported problems with Linux desktop, laptop, and remote desktop. You will manage and maintain the environment for assigned endpoint infrastructure services, including software deployment, updates, inventory management, and security settings. This role will require occasional travel to both our Longmont & Westminster offices and will be a Hybrid role.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Collect, monitor, and analyze system logs and troubleshoot issues related to assigned systems
  • Troubleshoot endpoint protection software, including anti-virus, anti-malware, and intrusion prevention systems
  • Participate and lead in the design and implementation of new systems and upgrades
    Perform regular maintenance and security tasks, including patch management and software updates
  • Create, maintain, and review scripts for automating tasks with tools such as Ansible
  • Provide technical guidance to leadership, peers, and end users
  • Stay current with new technologies and advancements in endpoint management and security
  • Monitor tickets & workflows and in accordance with team's SLAs
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate the endpoint environments with other systems and applications
  • Adhere to policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the endpoint environments and comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Audit and review environment changes made by peers
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Document specific duties, activities, problems solved, and issues resolved
  • Perform additional duties and assignments as requested
  • Provide rotational on-call support
  • Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers and clients
  • Maintain a high level of customer-service in all situations

Minimum Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen and able to obtain Secret Clearance
  • 5+ years experience in technical support role
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience

  • Experience supporting RHEL, Ubuntu, and AL2
  • Demonstrated experience supporting RedHat Satellite and Canonical Landscape
  • Ability to be on call on a rotational basis

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience supporting an enterprise environment
  • Experience with Cloud environments (AWS Workspaces, Azure WvD, Citrix)
  • Experience using Ansible for automation
  • Understanding of hardening systems, working in a STIG/ICD503/CIS environment
  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field
  • Willingness to get a Security+ Certification, if not already obtained
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently
  • Experience installing and configuring computer systems and applications for a large company
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Experience with Visio

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate's unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$87,000.00 - $145,000.00 annually.
