Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations, the Outbound Sales Representative (OSR) will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by contacting potential customers, understanding their needs, and proposing solutions to our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, ability to build/maintain customer relationships, and a proven track record of success in outbound sales, preferably in the automotive fleet industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Proactively generate leads through research, cold calling, emailing, networking, and other prospecting techniques to introduce Pep Boys Fleet offerings
  2. Conduct a minimum of 40 Prospecting Calls Daily
  3. Conduct needs assessment conversations with potential clients to understand their business challenges and provide tailored solutions to meet fleet requirements.
  4. Maintain a pipeline of prospects and manage sales follow-up activities.
  5. Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
  6. Record all sales activities in the company's CRM system.
  7. Stay up to date with industry trends and the competitive landscape to effectively position Pep Boys Fleet's offerings.
  8. Collaborate with the field sales team and other departments to achieve sales goals.
  9. Attend sales training and professional development sessions as required.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. High school diploma required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in sales, particularly in outbound calling or telesales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of automotive fleet services and industry trends is a plus.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
