About the Role

The PMO at Ogilvy Health is responsible for project execution, process improvement, budget management and resource management across the agency. Our Business Managers are an integral member of the PMO team, focused on optimal scope development and financial management, staff mix, and adherence to agency financial process. We are looking for a business manager to oversee a portfolio of projects, partnering closely with project and account management teams to provide financial and operational expertise across the full lifecycle of agency work.

What You'll Do

  • Manage $5-10MM+ of business across a range of multi-channel client engagements in pharmaceutical, health, and wellness categories
  • Lead scope and staff plan development in collaboration with PMO partners and discipline leads
  • Provide scope oversight and support across brands in their portfolio including analysis, triage, and reporting
  • Attends and participates in weekly and monthly financial meetings including those to set revenue forecast, review project burn, track hours by employee, review revenue risks and key performance indicators for the business
  • Support Finance and PMO team members on ad-hoc finance-related tasks and requests
  • Tracks and manages scope for assigned business based on workloads, monthly forecast requirements, and profitability.
  • Provides operational recommendations on an ongoing basis based on respective team's forecast and actuals

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years Project Management/Finance/Operations experience
  • Expert knowledge of agency and financial process standards
  • Solid business sense and is able to understand and drive agency financial priorities
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and is able to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels and disciplines
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Pay Range
$35,000$65,000 USD
