Office of Admissions and Recruitment
The Office of Admissions and Recruitment at the UMKC School of Medicine is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to assist and support its recruitment efforts. Primary responsibilities include:
1) Coordinating logistics for all School of Medicine prospective and admitted student events
2) Effectively communicating general program information and admissions requirements to interested applicants through individual meetings, virtual sessions, and group presentations
3) Executing recruitment initiatives designed to increase the diversity of students that apply to School of Medicine programs.
Additional Duties Include:
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
* A Master's degree in Higher Education, one of the above fields, or a related field is preferred.
* Six months to one year experience in Admissions or Higher Education is preferred.
$18.50 - $20.67 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity.
