General Responsibilities | The Assistant Director will coordinate all tutorial services offered in the Learning Assistance Center. Responsible for quality oversight of tutors, tutor training, and learning center programming. Will work closely with all related directors and personnel on new program development, program refinement, and development and implementation of short and long-term goals. Coordinate recruiting, hiring, training, orientation, supervision, performance and program evaluation, and scheduling for 60+ part-time tutors. Collaborate with directors working with special populations on tutoring needs of students in their programs. Responsible for TracCloud software management and maintaining accurate semester tutoring data. Responsible for maintaining CRLA certification and developing materials for training program re-certification every five years. Assist with data collection for special populations, college-wide programs, and grant reporting. Ensure tutor coverage and provide problem resolution. |

Employees in positions that do not require a bachelor's degree must participate in The Pension. Employees that possess a bachelor's degree and hold professional positions that require a bachelor's degree may choose to participate in either The Pension or The ORP. |
