As our next Regional Utilities & Maintenance Manager, reporting to the Head of Engineering Americas (T&W), you will lead the transformation towards the best utilities and maintenance systems. Our regional Utilities and Maintenance Manager will oversee a complex multi-site, multi-technology environment, driving optimum performance in utilities and maintenance to deliver value improvements and sustainability reductions. This includes ensuring availability, performance, regulatory compliance, and cost-effectiveness, according to our sustainability goals.

Your main responsibilities will be to lead operational excellence across the main focus areas of Safety, Sustainability, Quality, Service and Cost. You will also build the site's operational strategy, continue the site's maturity journey regarding its continuous improvement roadmap and further develop the site's management of personnel.

An important part will be the responsibility to sponsor and guide the continuous improvement culture, mindset and usage across the entire site, which is an important enabler to achieving our performance results.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for:

Site OPS Governance with Global Support

  • Support the delivery of annual value case projects and opportunities
  • Develop regional roadmap, aligned with global strategy and site/business requirements
  • Support and follow-up with energy and water best practices, good maintenance practices, share insights with sites
  • Follow-up with sites to ensure cost savings and focus sustainability KPIs are updated in PPM promptly
  • Provide site updates to pipeline project database
  • Support site and regional controllers in annual utilities and maintenance budget process
  • Provide training to site team in best practices and available solutions/tools, use CoE Academy

Governance calls with Global Stream Leads and BPs

  • Participate in monthly call with stream lead and regional managers

Sustainability

  • Attend quarterly regional sustainable OPS meeting (w/Regional OPS heads, Sust, IM&S, Controlling)
  • Support Sustainable Operations and Pillar 9 workstreams (main support provided by Global Stream lead)
  • Provide support during annual site KPI target validation process

On-site support for projects

  • Provide support to regional project managers on projects that impact utility and maintenance systems (our upgrades)
  • Support site master plans, CO2 master plans,
  • Support STMS, gap, CIMA, EHS, Quality and Utilities site assessments
  • Help deploy Ultimo platform, at applicable sites. The site is responsible for platform use.
  • Help implement Fiori, POKA, red tagging, SAP/MRS, SAP/PM, Asset Care, RPC network
  • Support sites to develop Long Term Asset Replacement plan for utilities and maintenance
  • Support UNS (Unified Namespace) future deployment

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent certification
  • 10 to 15 years in operations, maintenance, utilities systems, lean & TPM environment
  • 5+ years of experience in people management
  • Sound knowledge of food and chemical processing industry
  • Solid record in change management within diverse cultures
  • Change management proficiency
  • Expertise in Project Management
  • Proficiency in world class manufacturing concepts (LEAN, TPM, WCM) and utilities systems
  • Knowledge in manufacturing processes
  • English
  • Proficiency in SAP.

Additional Qualifications

  • Certified Energy Manager or Certified Energy Auditor
  • PMP license
  • Green Belt
  • Spanish or Portuguese
