The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

The Strategic Systems Analysis Group (SSAG) supports government and private sector strategic planning, decision making, and program management. SSAG integrates deep client knowledge, advanced analytics, and subject matter expertise to provide timely and objective technical, operational, programmatic, acquisition, and policy analysis. SSAG is hiring for a Senior Systems Engineer.

Responsibilities

Support the Navy SSP customer in a fast paced new Acquisition development program for the Nuclear Sea-Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM-N) program. The successful candidate will support the integration of a cruise missile air vehicle into the launch tube environment and lead the coordination activities across multiple Government and Contractor organizations for Ship Integration and Fleet Integration for the SLCM-N system. Support the planning, coordination, and execution of systems engineering activities leading to Systems Engineering technical reviews, specifically supporting the Systems Engineering team to develop complex System and Subsystem Requirement Specifications, interface definition and coordination, SSN force structure and Fleet Integration planning and implementation. Provide executive support for the Ship Board Systems Integration Working Groups as required. Support system of systems integration activities to enable the execution of a coherent and successful missile system design effort. Program programmatic coordination support for ship integration through strategic planning, planning factors and schedule development, meeting support, and development of programmatic artifacts; including but not limited to white papers, power point presentations, talking points, schedules, and decision briefs and papers.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

    Current DoD security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • 10+ years of Operational Submarine experience.
  • Experience working at COMSUBLANT, COMSUBPAC, or Submarine Squadron or Group levels.
  • 5+ years of experience working with DoD Acquisition program.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
  • Experience working at OPNAV N97.
  • Experience with Navy Missile Development Programs.
  • Experience with Nuclear Deterrence concepts and systems.
  • Experience with Nuclear Weapons programs.
  • Master's Degree.
