Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Loan Operations-Manager, Loan Review Documentation will perform a variety of functions to ensure the efficient operation of the loan documentation review area in accordance with established Bank policies and procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Create procedures and processes within the loan document review group to improve processes and gain efficiencies.
  • Write employee annual reviews
  • Monitor and approve employee time in the timekeeping system.
  • Perform loan documentation review of Commercial loans, Commercial Real Estate loans, Commercial C&I loans, SBA Loans, Consumer loans and Mortgage loans.
  • Must have knowledge of various entity documentation and loan documentation.
  • Become proficient in the bank's internal loan policies
  • Create exceptions on the system to monitor documentation errors or missing documentation
  • Contact lender and or lending assistant when documentation exceptions are found on loan documents audited
  • Attention to regulatory requirements and compliance training applicable to position (Bank Secrecy Act, Customer Information, Privacy Act and various lending regulations)
  • Internal and external customer service
  • Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidential information are essential.

  • Ability to follow directions and make decisions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ability to manage employees
  • Must have e-mail etiquette skills
  • Ability to use common sense and sound judgment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Time management and ability to prioritize
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Professional telephone skills and speak in a courteous manner a must

Preferred: (High School, College, Master's Degree, certifications or license)

  • High school graduate or equivalent; A minimum of five years' experience working in a Loan Department supervisory role with full knowledge of loan documentation; Lending and/or Operations experience required.
