Tends Injection Molding Machine that heats plastic/resin raw materials to form plastic molded products. Performs visual inspections, and packs completed parts per Operator Instructions. Escalates operating issues as needed. At Parker, you will cultivate a strong culture by participating in High Performance Teams and operating in a LEAN structure.
Essential Functions
- Read and follow posted operator instructions. Remove product from injection molding machine or conveyor belt located at machine and inspect, in some cases assemble, trim, and/or pack product per instructions.
- Collect and enter data on appropriate documents such as Day by Hour boards and/or quality sort sheets
- Maintains work area and equipment according to 5S standard, and performs secondary operations as needed.
- Properly labels all boxes and packed parts.
- Work cross functionally to support company LEAN and High Performance team objectives and initiatives.
- Adheres to all Parker safety and quality standards.
- Use appropriate PPE for designated area.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship or have U.S. Permanent Resident Status required.
- GED or High School Diploma required.
- Relevant Work Experience: I: 0-1 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Ability to read and follow written and/or verbal instruction in English.
- Ability to lift and or move up to 40 lbs.
