About The Role

The Marketing Coordinator plays an important role in the overall function of the Marketing Department; ensuring complete, accurate and branded projects are submitted in a timely manner. The position is responsible for the development and execution of the Bank's social media and digital marketing strategies under the direction of the Director of Marketing. In addition, this position is responsible for assisting the Bank's marketing team with general marketing activities, including executing the Bank's annual marketing plan, event planning and support throughout the organization's 21 branch footprint in eastern and central Washington. This position is extremely deadline driven and requires strong ability to multi-task, high attention to detail.

MARKETING & DESIGN COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works in conjunction with the Director of Marketing to develop and execute the overall social media strategy for the bank to enhance our presence within this medium
  • Develops and executes email marketing campaigns and messaging utilizing bank provided software and resources
  • Assists in the administration of promotional campaigns, incentives, customer events/celebrations, etc.
  • Assists with the coordination of events, including customer appreciation events held throughout our market area
  • Assists with the coordination of the bank's participation in community events, ensuring that the Wheatland has a professional appearance at all community events
  • Helps develop marketing plan and designs for electronic message centers and in-branch digital signs in order to keep the messaging fresh and aligned with current priorities of the bank and the branches at which these signs are located
  • Assists with the maintenance of the Bank website; keeping content up-to-date and refreshed, including product information, and in compliance with Bank regulations
  • Assists with updating online content with third party vendors, such as Google places/maps, Yahoo directory, and other miscellaneous sites like Yelp, Bing, Yellow pages online, etc.
  • Gathers information regarding competitors' products, fees, and methods of marketing
  • Maintains marketing project calendar by branch and anticipates needs in advance of due dates
  • Prepare monthly progress reports on status of marketing projects


About You

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in marketing or related field, and a minimum of two years of social media and marketing experience
  • Competence with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoin
  • Strong communication skills including oral, written and presentation skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent time managements skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Adept at planning and organizing programs and events
  • Strong administrative and marketing support skills
  • Ability to analyze problems and facilitate solutions
  • Experience in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes
