Overview

Foley & Lardner LLP's Boston office is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide support for our Intellectual Property (IP) law department. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, possess good verbal and written communication skills, superior attention to detail, have the ability to handle tasks in a fast-paced environment, prioritize in accordance with deadlines, and work with a wide range of constituencies in a polite and professional manner.

Responsibilities
    Assist with billing, conflict checks, opening new matters, and time entry
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare reimbursements using Chrome River
  • Review, scan, file, and save incoming mail (documents, e-mails and facsimiles) to NetDocs/Outlook
  • Provide administrative assistance in patent processing process using various IP software programs as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED required; College degree preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in an administrative office support role preferred, ideally in a law firm environment
  • Experience with Intellectual Property preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel preferred
