Job Description

Datadog is seeking a Senior Field Marketing Manager for the Americas Field Marketing team to drive pipeline growth for the Southeast territory. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Field Marketing (NAMER) who is based in San Francisco.

You will have the opportunity to work across sales and marketing as you develop and deploy a strategic field marketing plan for your territory. In addition, you will bring new, creative approaches to legacy event programs. You will be joining a dynamic global field marketing team of highly talented field managers. As a result, we are seeking an individual with a real passion for strategic field and growth marketing and an endless pursuit to exceed goals.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You'll Do:

  • Utilize a mix of marketing channels to execute a regional field marketing strategy for the Southeast and evaluate the success of each program using quantifiable data to help inform future plans - evangelize winning strategies.
  • Build a collaborative culture by meeting with Southeast sales leadership on a weekly cadence.
  • Drive engagement for key accounts through a mix of in-person and virtual events as well as other field marketing activities.
  • Manage end-to-end event execution including but not limited to working on messaging, audience acquisition, event experience, logistic management, sales enablement, and post-event lead management.
  • Utilize the tech stack (Demandbase, SFDC, Metabase, Marketo, Tableau) to continuously identify trends and insights. Apply those learnings to increase engagement with your key accounts to reduce no-show rates, and increase post-activity conversion.
  • Quarterly forecast and budget management.
  • Submit timely marketing operation requests. This includes campaign requests, building event landing pages, scheduling eDMs, and other digital engagement touches.
  • Be an integral part of executing Datadog's signature events, such as Datadog Live, and supporting DASH, our annual user conference. You will also have the opportunity to support the field programs within large-scale partner events (e.g., Google Cloud Next & AWS Re:invent).
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of our products, market position, competition, partner network, sales cycle, and ideal customer profile (ICP).

Who You Are:

  • Always applying your growth mindset to execute multi-touch, multi-channel campaigns that surpass both internal goals and industry standards.
  • Individual who thrives on producing a high-volume of field activities per quarter.
  • Possess a team-oriented approach that ensures seamless alignment across the organization.
  • Ability to analyze, package, and present key learnings.
  • 7+ years of relevant marketing experience in B2B SaaS marketing
  • Outstanding organizational skills. Capable of meeting deadlines while balancing multiple projects and priorities
  • Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Experience with Marketo, Demandbase, Github, Jira, CRM (Salesforce), Google Suite, project management and enablement workflows.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you're passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits and Growth:

  • Generous and competitive benefits package
  • New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan
  • Continuous career development and pathing opportunities
  • Product training to develop an in-depth understanding of our product and space
  • Best in breed onboarding
  • Internal mentor and buddy program cross-departmentally
  • Friendly and inclusive workplace culture

Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog.
