The Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst is part of a Business Intelligence team who supports the delivery of strategic initiatives and building awareness. This high performing team transforms data into easy to digest intuitive visuals and outputs to help the business make educated decisions while appropriately monitoring business performance.

A Day in the Life

  • Lead work across numerous business areas specifically Operations with the support of coworkers to impact and build dashboards to enhance departmental performance

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in identifying and developing business solutions, using queries and analytical tools to solve the most complex problems

  • Analyze data and provide trend information and draw conclusions for executive level and business leaders, making consultative recommendations for process improvement

  • Partner with the user community to create new business intelligence, reporting and data analysis solutions.30%*Drive medium to large-scale projects within the organization

  • Responsible to meet all deadlines, deliverables, and ensure open lines of communication throughout the operations organization

  • Help to manage multiple projects, develop project plans and monitor performance ensuring timely completion of projects and appropriate reporting

  • Capture, develop, and document data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements10%*Occasionally prepare clear and concise high-level PowerPoint presentations for executives and business leaders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, CS, Data Analytics, mathematics or related fields required

  • 7+ years of working experience, or education related experience

  • 7+ years experienced user in PowerBI (or equivalent Business Intelligence platform), SQL, Visual Studio, Excel and PowerPoint

  • The ability to engage with others is essential as the role will frequently involve investigating processes

  • Highly detail oriented and organized to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Excellent verbal and written communications, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Ability to learn quickly with the flexibility to adapt to change

  • Prior experience with dashboard creation and writing SQL queries is preferred

  • Knowledge of DAX, C#, SSIS, Python, SAS, and/or Visual Basics for Application will be a plus

  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills

  • Zest for supporting the organization with data driven solutions
