Your Team, Your Impact

We're seeking a candidate with strong problem solving and analytical skills to join the Supply Chain Planning group. You'll collaborate with global cross-functional teams of Business Operations, Marketing, Engineering, and Suppliers to support Supply Chain planning, Inventory Management, corporate revenue goals and supply chain key performance metrics.

At Marvell, every single chip that we design, put into production, and eventually ship has a team that includes a supply chain planner. You'll be managing the outside vendors for that chip project including the foundry, assembly, testing, warehousing, and others. At Marvell, you'll also be working closely demand planning, engineering, foundry, new product introduction and purchasing team. Unlike at some other companies, this role comprises external vendor management and internal program management.

What You Can Expect

In this hybrid role based in Santa Clara, you will be working with a global cross-functional team including sales, engineering, marketing, and operations professionals. Using planning tools (JDA/Kinaxis) and Oracle ERP tools as well as analytics tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Office.

You will attend meetings to give or receive status updates and may need to present or moderate meetings at times.

You will also:

  • Analyze supply-demand matching based on MRP run to determine root cause changes, shortages, and surpluses, and identify and drive course corrections
  • Responsible for analyzing and ensuring weekly wafer starts per MPS
  • Review all MRP system inputs with the functional owner to drive accountability and ensure accuracy as necessary (yield, BOM, capacity, etc) ensuring that all current data is being used by the planning engine
  • Develop 12-month rolling capacity planning forecast for vendors
  • Achieve target DOI by implementing an inventory strategy that optimizes DOI vs. on-time delivery
  • Responsible for Revenue management of the BU.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachaleor degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Math, Supply Chain or other related fields and 4-5 years of Supply Planning experience. OR aMaster's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Math or other related fields and 2-3 years of Supply Planning experience.
  • Fabless Semiconductor or similar Hi-Tech Industry experience. Planning ICs that are planned across multiple Foundries and OSATs experience is critical.
  • Strong Leadership/Program Management Skills to drive cross-functional decisions
  • Experience with controllers used on boards is a plus
  • Experience with advanced planning tools (Kinaxis, JDA, SAP)
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel); advanced Excel skills desired
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

75,470 - 113,100, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
