Timmons Group is currently seeking a Senior Wildfire Business Analyst to work with our clients and our Solutions team on projects within the Wildfire and Forestry markets. Timmons Group is a leading provider of wildland fire and forestry technology solutions including technology RoadMaps, custom web and mobile applications, ESRI and GIS integration, data analytics, and repeatable solutions including our Wildfire Risk Assessment Portal and Community Assessment Tool. Timmons Group has a large client basis within the wildland fire market consisting of federal, state, local and NGO clients.
We are seeking an individual who can bring forth their subject matter expertise and experience within the wildland fire and forestry market to support our clients with the implementation of technology solutions through the entire software development life cycle from discovery and analysis through implementation and handoff to support.
The Senior Business Analyst works with our clients to understand their business activities, workflows, and needs on multiple levels (from a technical, functional, practical, and end-user perspective). The Business Analyst must be a highly engaging individual who will work with clients and internal team members to develop and manage scope and deliver solutions meeting end user/client expectations through an iterative methodology. The Senior Business Analyst works closely with the Project Manager to ensure scope stays aligned with the schedule and budget.
This position will have a strong focus on custom application development and data insights requirements for the wildfire/forestry market. Experience in this market area is required.
