Clean Fuels Program Grant Coordinator

The Grant Coordinator will have a keen attention to detail along with strong communication skills as they work with non-profits and government entities to keep the momentum going throughout the grant approval and execution process. In this position, you may also attend events when the projects are completed.

What you'll do as a Clean Fuels Program Grant Coordinator:

  • Develop innovative, creative, and cost-effective strategies that drive the success of the Clean Fuels Program (CFP); ensures vision and strategy are aligned to corporate strategy; serves as the expert for CFP programs and champions the features and benefits of CFP in the product portfolio; participates in determining best uses of company resources for program goals.
  • Track program/product performance and analyzes promotion/channel effectiveness; identifies and evaluates potential product enhancements or extensions; documents and reports on findings; determines how to use data to make product enhancements; recommends changes to incorporate in future efforts.
  • Design and implement customer service processes and procedures to ensure high-quality customer experiences; integrates diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices into program management; may support customers who have questions or challenges with products or tools associated with the product from conception to completion; determines product changes that increase customer satisfaction.
  • Represents PGE on committees and stakeholder outreach related to assigned products; establishes and maintains relations with key partners and industry organizations such as Energy Trust or FORTH to jointly plan promotions and evaluate completed promotions; communicates with community-based organizations to identify developments and ensure PGE is on the forefront of marketing opportunities.
  • Ensures legal agreements are executed and payments are made according to PGE's internal process; follows budget and accounting best practices; Supports Transportation Electrification team on new products or programs related to the CFP execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Knowledge and Product Analysis Analyzes segments of the energy market to appropriately position assigned products; maintains market knowledge through key trade publications and participation in trade organizations and meetings/trade shows related to assigned products.
  • Product Strategies Participates substantially in developing innovative, creative and cost-effective strategies that drive the success of assigned products; provides professional knowledge and advice for assigned products; champions the features and benefits of assigned products.
  • Product Performance and Evaluation Participates substantially in tracking program/product performance, analyzing promotion/channel effectiveness and identifying and evaluating potential product enhancements or extensions; documents and reports findings.
  • Product Life Cycle Management Participates substantially in managing the life cycle of assigned products through the growth, maturity, and decline/discontinue stages; participates in enhancement development and implementation of assigned products and expanding program participation among customers.
  • Internal Collaboration Collaborates with stakeholder departments to execute product strategies; participates in identifying customer profiles, awareness and satisfaction, drawing promotion lists and planning promotions.
  • Customer Experience Implements customer service processes and procedures to ensure high-quality customer experiences; participates in supporting customers who have questions or challenges with products or tools associated with assigned products.
  • Policy Planning and Development Responds to requests for information related to policies, practices and services related to new products and services.
  • External Relations and Communication Represents PGE on committees related to assigned products; establishes and maintains relations with industry organizations such as Energy Trust or Green Mountain Energy to jointly plan promotions and evaluate completed promotions; communicates with trade organizations to identify developments and ensure PGE is on the forefront of marketing opportunities.

Education/Experience/Certifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, accounting, sustainability, public policy, economics or other related field or equivalent experience.
  • Typically, two or more years in product management, an electric utility, marketing, project management or related field.
  • Preferred qualifications: working skills and intermediate skill levels in knowledge of contract administration, project management, tariffs and rate structures, understanding customers' needs and challenges to effectively demonstrate product benefits and solutions.
  • Requires a valid driver's license and a history of safe driving practices.

PGE supports hybrid flexible work arrangements; and will have a combination of in-the-office and working offsite. This individual will need to be located within 75 miles from job location and will need to work in-the-office at least one day a week. Compensation Range:

$72,900.00 - $145,375.00

Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
