Work Schedule
8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Monday - Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours required in conjunction with game schedules.
Primary Purpose of Position
Primary graphic designer for women's basketball. Specific responsibilities will include the creation and design of digital assets to be used in weekly and game-day email graphics, social media templates and general use graphics for web and social media and video boards as well as the design of print collateral such as sales brochures, posters, programs, game day guides and promotional pieces. The successful candidate will collaborate with the external team to provide a consistent brand and promotional message across all projects.
Minimum Education/Experience
Required Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalency and two years of visual/graphic arts experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

University Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from high school and two years of visual/graphic arts experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities needed in the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Essential Job Duties
  • Serve as a key strategist and creative director for the creation of engaging digital graphics to promote events, accolades, awards and recognition of Charlotte Women's Basketball.
  • Create effective and accessible design elements for social media, websites, video boards and applications.
  • Identify emerging trends as well as industry standards and incorporate them into creative content
  • Advise coaches, staff, and student athletes on social media post
  • Adhere to established brand guidelines
  • Adhere to university, conference, Charlotte Athletics and NCAA policies and procedures
Other Work Responsibilities
Other duties as assigned by Head Women's Basketball Coach or Executive Associate Athletic Director.
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
  • A bachelor's degree in graphic design, art, marketing, advertising or a related field.
  • Graphic design experience is required and specific experience in graphic design for collegiate athletics and/or professional athletics is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
