Providence is calling an Infection Preventionist RN who will:

• Be expected to work autonomously within the designated region and ministries
• Be accountable for implementation of and compliance with policies, practices and processes of Providence Clinical Network Infection Prevention Program at a ministry, regional and system level
• Follow all current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations
• Provide infection prevention consultative services focused on providing the highest quality professional care at the lowest cost to patients and the organization
• Perform all duties in a manner that supports the team concept and reflects the philosophy, mission, vision, and values of the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy

We welcome 100% remote work for residents who reside in one of the following States:

• Oregon
• Washington

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse License in state of residence
• Within 2 years of hire date: Certified in Infection Control - Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology
• 4+ years of clinical experience
• Demonstrated in communicating effectively, verbally and in writing, with administrators, physicians, nursing, public and all levels of hospital personnel

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• Master's Degree in Nursing or Public Health
• Strong background in sterilization, disinfection and sanitation methods in a healthcare facility
