Job Overview

As a member of our Project Management group, you will provide purchasing expertise to ensure the timely delivery of materials for our manufactured products.

A Day In The Life
  • Purchase project material
  • Make purchasing decisions in accordance with standard work
  • Analyze and review purchase orders for accuracy and completion
  • Item master creation and maintenance
  • Clarify BOMs and refine item master descriptions for future orders
  • Review quotes for accuracy
  • Resolve PO issues in timely manner
  • Process order acknowledgements from suppliers
  • Update and maintain ECNs and NCNs
  • Collaborate with project management and manufacturing to ensure timely delivery of materials to maintain capacities and schedule
  • Accurately file all required documentation
  • Obtain competitive pricing/new sources for materials
What will help you thrive in this role?

  • High School Diploma; Associates Degree preferred
  • Minimum of one to two years of purchasing experience
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to work on many different projects at once
  • Great communications skills with both internal and external customers
  • Work well under deadlines

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
