Job Description

Purpose: This position is responsible for the daily monitoring and tracking of inventory issues as it relates to the Distribution Operations. This position will provide reporting and analysis using a variety of distribution related metrics using the Microsoft Suite of products (including PowerBI) and business-related software. This position will investigate and research information daily and will be asked to provide root cause analysis and recommend corrective action.

Key Responsibilities:
* Build, enhance and update daily/weekly/monthly/annual reports based on business needs.
* Support business for ad hoc data requests.
* Provide data as needed to drive decision making and process improvement.
* Perform a variety of daily and weekly data entry tasks related to areas of responsibility.
* Research within the Warehouse Management System information that can be used by supervisory personnel to derive root cause analysis and formulate a corrective action plan recommendation.
* Perform other Inventory Control Department, Quality or distribution operations duties as required.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
* Must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
* Must have good math sense and high level of accuracy
* Must have strong problem-solving skills
* Must be able to multitask on a wide variety of tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
* Must have ability to work independently and be self-motivated
* Must have advanced MS OFFICE computer skills, especially MS Excel and PowerBI. MS Forms, Tableau, Smartsheet, MS Access and PowerPoint is a plus.
* Must have very good organization skills

Essential Functions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:
* regularly required to talk, hear; sit, stand and/or walk; use fingers, hands, arms and feet to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, operate, push, pull, bend, and/or twist for up to twelve (12) hours/day
* able to reliably attend work/scheduled hours

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
* High School Diploma/GED. Associate Degree in Business or relevant field is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree.
* Previous experience in reporting / analytics function.
