Job Description

INTRODUCTION

Reporting to the Director or Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Recruiter at Unity Health Care manages end-to-end recruitment, primarily for Provider roles. Utilizing diverse sourcing methods, they ensure high-caliber candidates are secured, meeting recruitment metrics. They foster positive relationships internally and externally, contributing to HR recruitment team development. Additionally, they recruit frontline patient care staff, emphasizing licensed clinical positions in correctional healthcare, employing innovative talent acquisition strategies for full cycle hiring.

MAJOR DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Partner with hiring managers to identify position requirements and conduct needs analysis assessments for new requisitions.
  • Proactively source healthcare candidates for correctional facilities, through innovative marketing, networking, and cold calling techniques.
  • Manage the recruitment process for both hiring managers and applicants to reduce time-to-fill and increase the quality of hire.
  • Conduct comprehensive candidate review, including reviewing application, prescreens, telephone interviews, and review of experience.
  • Promote Unity Health Care as an Equal Opportunity Employer and maintain positive relationships with hiring managers and external recruitment vendors.
  • Coordinate and attend job fairs and conferences while staying informed of labor trends and their impact on recruitment efforts.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and new hire records in the Applicant Tracking System and oversee administrative responsibilities for internal transfers.
  • Ensure compliance with personnel policies, procedures, and recruitment practices, including laws and regulations such as DOL, FLSA, ADA, DHS, and DOES.
  • Generate and maintain records for effective auditing procedures and prepare reports for government regulatory agencies.
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly position announcements, recruitment advertising ads, and job postings for various platforms.
  • Review and screen applicants, making referrals of qualified candidates to department managers and supervisors.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED BY THE POSITION

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in advertising, sourcing, and recruiting healthcare medical professionals.
  • Acts as the subject matter expert, requiring strong critical thinking and judgment skills.
  • Proficient in crafting targeted recruitment plans and strategies for achieving desired outcomes.
  • Demonstrates adaptability, professionalism, and organizational skills while maintaining control in handling multiple requests and interactions with hiring managers.
  • Communicates transparently and promptly regarding status updates, challenges, and task barriers.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Requires no heavy lifting, and nearly all work is performed in an office environment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Frequently required to sit, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, and talk/hear. Requires critical thinking, organizational, decisive judgment, communication, good customer service skills. Must be able to handle multiple tasks, be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate actions as needed. Must always follow Unity Healthcare and departmental policies and procedures.
