Job Description

Corewell Health has nine Teen Health Center sites that promote the health of children, adolescents, and their families by providing primary medical, preventive, and mental health services to high-risk and underserved youth. Free services include primary medical care, mandatory vaccines and immunizations, mental health behavioral therapy, family planning, testing and screenings.

Each center has established its own community and youth advisory council made up of parents, community members, school officials, youth, and health professionals.

There is an expectation of regular site visits and as needed. There is flexibility for the primary location.

Scope of work

Supervise and train office support staff and clinical personnel to ensure optimal patient process flow and serve as a liaison between physicians and clinical staff in daily operations. The Manager of Clinical Operations is responsible for charge processing, A/R follow up, cash processing, patient flow, maintenance of scheduling system and patient medical records. You will develop and implement policies, process improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives.

The scope of this position will be determined by leadership according to defined leveling criteria.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing Required.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant healthcare experience Preferred.
  • 2 - 4 years of direct staff supervisory experience, preferably in a customer-service or healthcare field Required.
  • Experience utilizing an electronic health record system Preferred.
  • MI Registered Nurse license Required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
